Inky black with crimson edges.  Complex bouquet of black plum, eucalyptus, dried green herbs, violet petals, and hints of black truffle and dark coffee.  Medium-plus bodied, dry, with notes of black cherry, stewed red fruits, purple flowers, and an earthy backbone. It features firm, powdery tannins and surprising acidity, balancing the rich fruit.
