• Marc Isart, fomer head winemaker at Bernabeleva, leads the family estate’s shift to biodynamic farming. His La Maldición label, meaning "The Curse," reflects the struggles of laborers working the remote vineyards within the Vinos de Madrid DO.

• The vineyards, at elevations of 716m to 780m in Valdelicha and Belmonte, grow old Tempranillo and Malvar vines in challenging calcareous and clayey soils surrounded by cliffs and canyons.

• A dedicated advocate of biodynamic viticulture, Isart creates wines that reflect their terroir, with reds offering floral raspberry and cherry notes, hints of cola and spice, and a fresh finish.
